The Third Season... What Up?!

Wait for it.

Okay now.

So yesterday, I took a deep breathe, opened my eyes, didn't mind that I have class the next day, and finally decided to finish the third season of, "How I Met Your Mother." It was very difficult for me to hold myself from watching because I need to watch it with my brother, but last night, I just cannot hold myself any longer, so I watched.

The show is still -- and forever will it be -- legendary. Except for a lame episode, I enjoyed it well and it still kinds of like the first season part 3, if you know what I mean. We're still here at New York. No going anywhere. And this season, there were a lot more surprises. And the story begins with the Barney's, "dary. Legendary."

Ted Mosby. He just had this breakup with Robin. Though he kind of moved on, he still got that heartache in him. So his other best friend, Barney, became his wingman, again. Episode eight clearly states that, and I most certainly agree (because it's been quite obvious watching him from the first season) that his bad habit is correcting people. There were no glass shattering because I already knew that one. He got a butterfly tattoo from a date which lead him to meet Stella Zinman, a dermatologist whom he had this love at first sight thing. It's funny that they have this two minute date. That last episode, he proposed to her.

This season, the older Ted told his kids that during that St. Patrick's day celebration, her wife was there; the one with the yellow umbrella. However, it was not explained well. This was also the year when both Barney and Ted broke up as best friends and bros because of Barney's doings, but they forgave each other on the last episode. It was this season when that goat was there. It was this season when he got into a car accident, but luckily, he survives. And it was in this season when something mysterious about him happened.

Robin Scherbatsky. Also known as Robin Sparkles, she did strike again. Aside from going to Argentina and going home with a Latino guy, being a news reporter of a lame news center, and sleeping with her ex's best friend, another video of her was brought up. She sang, "Sandcastles in the Sand." Twas a good song, but not as catchy as, "Let's go to the Mall." Ohh. There was an episode telling that she had a relationship with Simon, the guy from her music video. They had this summer fling when they were both young stars but broke up because of a pool. They dated again years later, but broke up again. Her bad habit is saying the word, "literally," always but it did not continue on or it did not happen before.

Marshall Eriksen. This year, he was a newly married man. He passed board, now he's a lawyer. He got a work at a firm he never really liked joining but was lured by an Asian guy. Soon he got a job, but then got fired because of screaming at his boss. He and Lily bought a new apartment, but sadly, it was crooked. However they have to live with that. His bad habit is singing what his doing. He actually sang this song which is so catchy I LOLed (especially the part when Barney joined. Epic).

Lily Aldrin (-Eriksen). Although she's already married, it seems like she's still not. She's got another hairstyle. She was put intro trouble when she had so much debts from so much credit cards. Though she admitted it in the end to Marshall, they have to face that challenge as a couple. She is a self-admitted painter and she tried selling her works, but no one bought it. In the end, a veterinarian bought it and there, she began painting for animals. Her bad habit is chewing loud.

Barney Stinson. He's still suited up, like always. He was the origin of this Platinum Rule which said, "never ever ever ever love thy neighbor." IT was this season he brought up to Marshall the Bro Code which pretty much sums up his whole life. He had flings with lots of women. A mysterious woman came to Lily to warn her about him. This girl ended up to be Abby, Stella's receptionist. He did sleep with Robin, which lead him to love her, though he denies it. He got into a car accident after running to Ted. He go well after it. It was also in this season that he revealed to the world that he has a scrapbook for all the girls he slept with. He also introduced to us the Chain of Screaming. This season, he was slapped for the third time. And it was in this season when he explained further about how he lost his virginity. Talking in a weird high-pitch voice, constantly using lame catch phrases, and sometimes spacing out not paying attention to what others are talking about are his annoying habits.

Overall, this season brought more story than the second season. It's still one of my best viewing experience so far.

What's unforgettable this season? Hmmm. The, "How I Met Everyone Else," episode on how Ted met everyone of them. Ted met Marshall when they became roommates. Ted met Lily at the orientation. They kissed that night. Ted met Barney at the urinal. Finally, Ted met Robin when he turned back.

So long third season. I'm going to watch you again. I'm off to the fourth season.
