Hey,

It's been a while.

I've been gone for a while, but I swear I haven't abandoned this blog. I still visit this blog once in a while, though I don't really post content here anymore since I started blogging on Tumblr some five years ago. But here I am, visiting this desolate blog and celebrate its sixth anniversary. Looked how time flew. The first time I decided to make my own blog, I just finished my freshman year in College, and our internet connection then was barely stable. At least, it was stable enough to have kept me awake that time of night to complete signing up for a world I never knew existed until I was immersed into the lives of two people who kept blogs themselves.

I was not really an expressive person in terms of writing, much more in speaking. And to tell you honestly, I still am not expressive. But I tried to be, and I had to. I was grooming myself to be a professional teacher. I had no choice but to do so. And so, amid the crisp sound of the summer rain serenading me, I clicked on blogger. And the rest was history.

Going back to the posts I wrote here from 2011-2012 (I moved to Tumblr, I guess by 2013) made me realize how much I miss being younger; when my greatest problem was passing an exam. Or submitting a requirement. Or a stubborn teacher. Now, I have lots of things to think of: bills, employment, even more bills, financial security, stability, and so much more. I guess I wanted to be an adult so much I hurried myself thinking this life would be better. Well, it's really not.

I don't know when my next blog post on this platform will be (I'm still active on Tumblr), but as what I've said some six years ago, a little patience and a crisp of the mind will go a long way.

Happy sixth anniversary to this blog.

Much love,

Francis
