Revolution

So I am tasked to make a song. The theme of this song is somewhat general in nature, but in the path of caring for the environment. I'm still on the process of arranging the song, and changing some lyrics of the song. I'm so focused to this song because it's going to be contested nationally! Imagine that.

So the tentative title of this song is, "The Revolution." The italicized lines are still on the process of revisions. The tune is almost done, but, revisions may take place.

don't just sit there. come grab my hand
i have a plan for our land
with oceans and the atmosphere
i know we need some mending here.
to be unselfish, we need faith
to be a steward, we need an action
to be a guardian, we need wisdom
ohh

and we cannot do this with our own selves
let's call all paulinians and we'll all

cherish the world like we treasure love
befriend the Earth and together we will spark a revolution
to maintain its beauty and its elegance
and strive for our best till we reach excellence for our future.

we have our science and technology
let's use them well productively
with all the knowledge that we've got
a formula is what we need
people plus science is unity
science plus action is progress
people plus action is excellence

and we cannot do this with our own selves
let's call all paulinians and we'll all

cherish the world like we treasure love
befriend the Earth and together we will spark a revolution
to maintain its beauty and its elegance
and strive for our best till we reach excellence. it's our treasure.

this is our edge, this is our lives
we are the young prime movers of our time
let's be on move, let's be on guard
for the next generation's sake
let us join hands before it's late
the revolution for better days
for greener pastures, and clear lakes
let us not put this into waste

and cherish the world like we treasure love
befriend the Earth and together we will spark a revolution
to maintain its beauty and its elegance
and strive for our best till we reach excellence with mother nature.
let's start it now. let's start it now. ohhhhhhh.
