A New Song + A New Project

I have actually one project named, "Squeezing Fearless Lemons." In this project, all my music are entirely made by FL Studio. I tried my luck in making techno music using that program. My first song under that project is entitled, "Angel by My Side." Now my second song is entitled Right Here. It is still bland and lacks a lot of producing because I'm still on the process of discovering this program. I'll recreate this later when I have time and I have discovered the ins and outs of the FL Studio.

Tonight I made another song. It's short, childish and superficial, but sums up almost everything I believe in.

Brown Eyes

I called her to be my partner. She never hesitated. It was already time for practice and everybody had partners except me. My partner was absent that day. I called for her. She was also waiting for her partner who never came. I smiled back at her and saw her breath-taking smile at me. I took her left hand with my right hand and held her hand tightly so as not to separate both. My left hand went to her waist and her right hand to my shoulder. We were ready to dance. This was the first time she and I became so close. The sun was scorching hot. What would a gentleman do? I took of my hat and put it on her head. She smiled and thanked me a bit. We waltzed to the rhythm of the song and went to our formation. As I danced so fair with her, I realized something, she can never be mine.

At the Beach

I made a song inspired from the place where we went a while ago. The lyrics are a little unhappy and very not the concept of going to the beach which is to have fun, but, walking by the seashore a while ago made me think of making this song so bad.

Revolution

So I am tasked to make a song. The theme of this song is somewhat general in nature, but in the path of caring for the environment. I'm still on the process of arranging the song, and changing some lyrics of the song. I'm so focused to this song because it's going to be contested nationally! Imagine that.

So the tentative title of this song is, "The Revolution." The italicized lines are still on the process of revisions. The tune is almost done, but, revisions may take place.

Calypso

When I saw her, I remember the lines from my composition. Hahaha. 


i was enticed, hypnotized
when you walked by, i was mesmerized

Hahaha. Nevermind.


Well, anyways, a while ago, I went on a choir competition. This time was totally different because I was not a performer, just a mere spectator. It was a rather, unusual thing to just watch the show rather than be in the show. Haha. Nevermind, I wanted to try watching while the choir I was in would perform anyway. It felt different. I lauded when they performed. It was unexplainable. I got goosebumps after they sang their first song. Listening them perform the same song for two years led me to a conclusion that they've grown a lot! (It seems like I'm a critic here already. Well, FREEDOM OF SPEECH! Lol). I remember myself whispering some of the tunes of the song because I don't know the tune. Haha. Yeah.


Their next song was even more outstanding! They performed a christmas song that has been popularized by many many many singers. But theirs was different. It was the calypso version they sang. Yeah. This time, I had chills all around my freaking body especially when they were about to end. If only I can, I could have bowed down in front of them. The were outrageously excellent! Imagine, only high school students as good as those? They can beat the elder groups if they can! Hahaha. 


Well, Expect the expected, they won first prize! Haha. I came to a conclusion here. They won -- when I'm not a part of them. Maybe I'm the bad luck that kept them from losing. Haha. But, you cannot deny the fact that they all grew to be the best choir members and they've developed a lot, so I conclude, I did not bring bad luck to them, they just grew better. Haha.


Well, all I want to say is congratulations and keep up! Hahaha


Well, what's her name? I don't know. I've never seen her before. She was stunning with that red dress. She sang like an angel serenading everyone. Well, nevermind.

Auburn Thoughts

And so I am writing a song.


For years now, I dream of making my own album. I never cared if it will be popular. What matters is, I HAVE AN ALBUM. Silly tunes and amateur lyrics composed that “album.” I was like 14 or 15 then and those lyrics were really superficial.


My all time favorite song of mine then was entitled Juliet. I composed that song when I was in Third Year, when I cannot get over the 1960’s Romeo and Juliet movie. It was pretty superficial, but what I do? I was still a junior back then!


Other songs about love came. I never knew why I wrote of love before where in fact, my love life before was zero (well, until now). There was this literal song about breaking apart. There was another song about missing someone. It’s funny to say that I did write songs about those.
