A wrapped up Year end Report

Okay, this year has been a very fruitful one. There has been many euphoric moments as there are also dysphoric moments (let's include the whatever moments. hahaha). Let's wrap up this year 2011 with things to remember for the rest of my goddamn life.

I hope this would become my yearly tradition as I end a year.

Euphoric Moment:
The moment when went on stage to receive my certificate and bowed as the first honors -- for the first time in my life. I had a weighted general average of more than 93%. It was such a very euphoric moment for me because I never experienced being first in line, since I was young. But wait, there's more. I also received my certificates of recognition for the various competitions I joined for the last school year. I had six certificates, if I remember it right. No words can express how much I was euphoric that time. I was in ecstasy. I was levitating. Haha. I do not mean to brag here. It was LEGEN -- wait for it -- DARY!

Dysphoric Moment:
There was no specific dysphoric moment but there many dysphoric moments that I had. Top three in no specific order are as follows: (1) When I lost an uncle due to illness, (2) when I my phone got destroyed, and (3) a confidential one. Haha. Well, I hope I’ll have less next year.

Most Epic Moment:
The most epic moment I had was when I won 4th place during the Luzonwide Press Conference held at the City of Pines last February. This competition is already equivalent to a National Competition so the expectations are high. It was my first time competing in that kind of competition so it was epic. MY contest that time was Poetry.

Most Embarrassing Moment:
When I had – together with a companion – pull a caroza for a street dancing. It was social suicide! I do not want to do that again, or ever think of it again. What makes it more embarrassing is that a few people I know are watching me. Add the crazy bandana on our heads. Shit. Good thing there’s – err – there was no good thing about it. Haha. Tell you, it was tiring also. The caroza was heavy and we have to pull it along the city proper. Damn it. Hahaha.

Most Mysterious Moment:
That mysterious moment when a priest says something to you and you don't understand. Yeah. It was very scary and mysterious. I did not understand what he said to me. Until now, this thing haunts me to death. Damn! Hahaha

Shortest Blog Post:
It's entitled Colds. I talks about me having Colds here. I was supposed to have a long post during this time. My mind had a topic to write about, however, I was so sick I had to write that only. After writing that, I went straight to bed.

Longest Blog Post:
It's entitled Hooted Up. I talked about Owl City here. Since I'm a fan, it's quite long. Haha.

Most Epic Photo from Facebook:
I know. We were kids here. Little kids. Haha. Kidding aside, this was our attire during our acquaintance party. MY attire sucks I know, but I had fun that night. Swear.

Most Unforgettable Movie of the Year:
My most unforgettable movie this year is entitled “Pers Lab,” produced and made and shot and acted by us – entirely. Hahaha. It was an experience to be treasured. It’s a film to be planted in our hearts forever. I know it’s a silly story of a boy meets girl but hey, it’s a movie of our generation! I have a part there, the brother of the main character. Aside from that, I became the movie editor, the scriptwriter, one of the cameramen, and the director. LOL. Too many works. At least, we pulled off to one of the greatest movies of all times…not.

Most Appealing Music of the Year:
ANGELS by Owl City. For some reason, this became one of my favorites on his 4th studio album, “All Things Bright and Beautiful,” with all the other tracks as my next favorites (bottomline: all are my favorites). I am amused by the lyrics of it, especially this line: “among my frivolous thoughts, I believe there are beautiful things seen by the astronauts.” Yes. It’s in my banner. Yeah. When I hear this, I always picture the sky full of stars, and there’s the astronaut, exploring the universe. Then, there are white lights getting nearer to him. Yeah. Just listen to the song.

New Year’s Resolution:
My New Year’s Resolution is same as that of last year. To lose weight, to focus on academics, to unfocus on lovelife, and to be a more productive man. This year, I have fulfilled everything.  One thing I need to do for 2012 is to hone my talents more. I need to be more productive in academics and my ambitious dreams need to be fulfilled. Haha. Just wait for it, 2012.

Description of the Year 2011:
Since I’ve discovered How I Met Your Mother this year, I’d say, this year is LEGENDARY! HAhaha. It was hell of a ride this 2011 to tell you. Though it was not as exciting as last year, I know this year has been a bang! Thanks God for this 2011.

Expectations for 2012:
I hope that I can fulfill my resolutions for next year. I hope that I’ll be closer to God. I hope that we will all be safe and sound for the coming year and for the next years to come. I hope that it will not still be the end of the world. I hope that there will be few weak calamities to come to the Philippines. And next year, I expect that it will be a happy year! :D

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012!
God Bless Us All! :D
