It was LEGEN--wait for it---DARY!

And there goes that catchy intro which me and my siblings can't get enough of. And so, here I am, blogging about my new craving. I maybe too late to say this, but, I'm a big fan of this American comedy series called, How I Met Your Mother.

Yesterday, my brother and I finished watching the first of 8 seasons. So, we were stuck in front of my laptop, watching 5 people go on to their lives like normal Americans do, and they would make the viewers die of laughter with their crazy antics and dialogues. It was like a drug that I was instantly hooked up and wanting more. I know the first season was during 2005. Hell, I was in grade 6 then. I don't know this yet.

Actually, I got acquainted with this show thanks to Star World. They would televise seasons 1, 2, or 6. Since my siblings and I can't catch up with the story and the schedule, I decided to download seasons 1-6 (Season 7 is still ongoing and Season 8 is still next year). I need to catch up, I thought. My sister would often be the one to direct us to Star World when she realizes that it's already the time. Guess what, she laughs louder than me when watching. I don't know why.

So, I was able to meet this 27-year old architect named Ted Mosby who had this sudden thought of settling down and getting married. There he is, sitting down with his children, relating to them his life back in 2005 and 2006. Josh Radnor plays the role of Ted here.

There's Robin Scherbatsky, the field reporter of Metro News 1 who always aspired of being an anchor of one prestigious news station. She would always report on various frivolous news. Ted fell in love with her this first season and on the last episode, they were finally together. Cobie Smulders play Robin.

There’s the couple who were engaged this season, and separated this season, just when everything was going perfectly in place. Marshall Eriksen and Lily Aldrin played by Jason Segel and Alyson Hannigan, respectively. They were such a nice couple to look at, always together in every possible way, doing that thing when they like to. One thing which amazes me is that, they were already together for 9 years. She was her first boyfriend and he was his first girlfriend. Nice, right? Well, Marshall is studying at a Law School and is an intern at a Legal Department. Lily, on the hand, is a Kindergarten teacher. Their marriage preparations were going smoothly, until they broke up because Lily followed her dreams instead of her heart.

Lastly is Barney Stinson. I don’t know the exact job of Barney, but he is working in an office for all I know. He is the character with the least background. No one knows his apartment, his job, unlike the others. But one thing separates him from others. He is awesome and legendary! HE always wear a suit. Yeah, he gave the reason this season (it rhymes!). It’s because of a girl. Well, we can’t see him having serious relationships. He is played by Neil Patrick Harris.

They would all be drinkijng at McLaren’s and would always share stories there. What I like is that, the whole season is full of flashbacks. It’s a flashback-ception! Ted having a flashback on how he met his wife and on that flashback comes other flashbacks. Haha. Well, just 5 New York City guys making me euphoric. LOL! Vomit free since 93…

Indeed, this season is LEGEN---wait for it---DARY! No wonder it reached 8 seasons. Haha. Unfortunately, the 2nd season is still downloading. As of now, it’s still 55.9%. Well, goodluck with that myself.

Gosh, can’t wait!
