It came to past. On it's sixth year

"The future is scary, but you can't just run to the past because it's familiar. yes it's tempting... but it's a mistake."

That is the most striking quotation I got from the sixth season of How I Met Your Mother. Yesterday, I finished watching the 6th season of the series.

2010-2011. The season when Angry Birds and Facebook and even the Jonas Brothers were so popular it got featured on this series.

Twas a very good year for all of them.

Ted Mosby. He dated Zoey this season. They met in front of the Arcadian Hotel. Aside from the fact that Zoey wanted to save the Arcadian Hotel from being demolished, but Ted was the chief architect of the new building and wants the Arcadian to be demolished, nothing went wrong in their relationship. They fit with each other. Well, they broke up in the end, when Ted finally thought of destroying the Arcadian. Anyway, during the Subway wars, he took the bus.

Robin Scherbatsky. She had a new co-anchor this season, Becky. She was annoyed to Becky so much that she wanted to do everything just to be better than Becky, to the point of making a seductive advertisement of some sort. However, since Becky came, she thought of quitting her job and finding a new job. She considered being a girl who would toss a coin in a game show, but through Ted, she was able to join one of the best news center in New York. However, the unfortunate part is that, she's working with Sandy Rivers again. She also became friends with her ex-BFF, Jessica Glitters. They became part of a show back in the day. They even sang one of the best songs in the whole series, "The Beaver Song." It was implied in the end that she still has feelings for Barney. Anyway, during the Subway wars, she took the taxi.

Marshall EricksenThis season was sad for him, I may say. He lost his father which he loved so much; he quit his job at the GNB trying to fulfill his dream of being an environmental lawyer but he was not accepted at NDRMC, his dream occupation. When he lost his job, he became the lawyer of Zoey, which sparked a fight between Barney and him. He and Lily has been trying to have a baby, but they always failed, until the last episode when they found out that Lily was pregnant. Anyway, during the Subway wars, he ran because he's an environmentalist.

Lily Aldrin. She is also pregnant! With what started as a victim on food poison, it was confirmed that she was pregnant after they were trying for many months! She and Marshall's mom already became friends during Marvin's funeral. So that is pretty much everything about Lily this season. Anyway, during the Subway wars, she took the subway, but often gets out of it just before the train really goes off.

Barney Stinson. A lot about him happened this season. After packing his things from their home, he discovered a lot of things from his childhood. He realized that Bob Barker was not his father, he grew up with lies, among others. He discovered his real father and that his expectations about his father is really not what is true. He also dated Nora, a friend of Robin. Although he is denying of his love to Nora, it is very obvious that he loves him. He might still got feelings for Robin because he helped her during the Subway wars to win. Speaking of which, during the Subway wars, he was the most lax one. He ate at a restaurant, took Ranjit as his driver, and drove a pedicab.

So that's pretty much Season 6. There are more of the details I didn't write like the reunion of James and his father, the appearance of the cockamouse, guesting of some well known actors and singers. Well, can't wait to finish Season 7.
